IT Seminar Invites Three U.S. Senior Executives

  March 15, 2012, a seminar on IT to Maximize the Value was successfully held at lecture hall 241 in the main building. The event was sponsored by the Office for International Exchange and Cooperation, and hosted by the School of Management and Economics MBA Education Center. The speakers included three senior executives: Richard Strum, John Santaferraro, and Richard Palmer.

  Mr. Richard Sturm, with years of experience in the field of information technology management, talked about the importance of providing high quality IT services, and how in to reduce IT costs and increase customer satisfaction.

  As an expert in the field of data information, Mr. John Santaferraro emphasized how technological innovation forced the enterprises to change the way of processing information. Based on the rapid development of the status quo, Mr. Santaferraro conducted in-depth exchange with audiences on how to use the new approach and technology software to handle and coordinate large data sets.

  Mr. Richard Palmer from the Hewlett-Packard focused his speech on cloud computing. He shared with the audience the cloud computing technology, business interests and information security.
  The seminar started at 3:30 pm, and lasted nearly six hours. It not only brought to the students a unique perspective of successful executives, but also provided a vision of globalization.
