According to the notice issued by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, our institute was approved 14 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2018, with a total amount of 6.065 million yuan. The number of approved projects increased by 75% compared with last year, and the amount of grants increased by 96.92% compared with last year. In the centralized acceptance stage of this year, a total of 34 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China were submitted, with an overall funding rate of 41.17%. The approved projects include 1 Outstanding Youth Science Fund Project, 1 Overseas and Hong Kong and Macao Scholars Cooperative Research Fund Project, 4 Youth Science Fund Projects and 8 Top Projects. The number of youth projects has increased compared to last year. In addition, the “Integrated Analysis Method and Application of Energy and Climate Policy” submitted by Mr. Yu Biying from our school won the Outstanding Youth Science Fund Project.
