At 1:30 pm on June 30, 2018, the 2018 Professional Degree Graduation Ceremony and Degree Awarding Ceremony of the School of Management and Economics was held in the lecture hall on the first floor of the Center. Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission Yang Zhihong, Executive Vice President of the Graduate School Wang Junzheng, Dean of the School of Management and Economics Wei Yiming, Director of the Humanities Department Li Jinlin, Vice dean Meng Fanchen, Vice Yujun, Deputy Secretary Peng Mingxue, Associate Dean Guan Hong, Assistant Dean Chen Xiang attended the event. Graduates, teachers representatives, students and friends attended the graduation ceremony. The graduation ceremony was hosted by Vice Dean Tang Baojun.

　　The ceremony opened in the majestic national anthem. Yang Zhihong, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, delivered a speech at the ceremony. On behalf of the school, he congratulated all the 2018 graduates for their graduation. At the same time, he expressed his gratitude to the hard-working faculty and staff members and their families. Yang Zhihong wished the students to pursue their "poetry and distance" and said that "BIT People" would be a mark of the students' entire life. The alma mater is always the spiritual home of the students.
