At 3 pm on June 4, 2018, at the invitation of the Department of Marketing of the School of Management and Economics, Prof. Sheng Shibin from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, USA, gave an academic report entitled “Institutions and Opportunism in Buyer-Supplier Exchanges: The Moderated Mediating Effects of Contractual and Relational Governance”.
This report focused on speculativeism, a field that has received much attention in recent years. First of all, Professor Sheng Shibin started with the social phenomenon and put forward the research questions and theoretical models. Then, through the extensive literature review and analysis, six hypotheses were proposed. After that, he elaborated the data sources and analysis methods, and discussed the research conclusions. In the end, Professor Sheng put forward the three major contributions of this article and answered questions from classmates and teachers. Everyone expressed their interest and was deeply inspired.
