Recently, after receiving the notification from the European Management Development Foundation (EFMD), the EQUIS Certification Committee agreed that the School of Management and Economics has made important progress in strategic development, teaching, student development, teacher development, research, and social services, and granted re-certification of the School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology. This is a re-certification after the first certification passed in 2014.

　　EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) certification is a business school quality certification system established by the European Management Development Foundation. Known for its comprehensiveness and rigorousness, the EQUIS certification is one of the most authoritative three major international certification systems. The quality system mainly includes ten indicators on the school’s strategy and objectives, teaching programs, student development, teacher development, scientific research, advanced management training, resource security, internationalization, ethics, social responsibility and sustainable development, and corporate cooperation.
