In response to the Ministry of Education's call for the construction of large-scale online open courses (MOOCs) in universities, the National Outstanding Teaching Team of the "Management Operations Research and Decision Simulation Course" led by Prof. Han Boxi of the School of Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology, began to make "Manage Operations Management" in 2014 into an online course and it was registered on the Chinese University MOOC website. In 2017, the Ministry of Education rated it as a national boutique online open course.
