December 19, 2011, in the morning, SME held an adjunct professor appointment ceremony at Conference Room 317 in the main building. Panikkos Zata Poutziouris , Professor of Cyprus International Institute for Management, was appointed adjunct professor. Associate Dean Zhaohua Wang hosted the appointment ceremony. Secretary Jin-Lin Li, on behalf of the School of Management and Economics, delivered a welcome remark.
Professor Panikkos Profile:
Panikkos Zata Poutziouris obtained PhD on Financial Management from the University of Nottingham. He is a founder of the International Institute of Family Business, and from 2007 until this summer, has served as President of the International Institute of Family Business. He is also a senior adviser to the family business in Cyprus and the UK. Currently serves in the Cyprus International Institute of Management, also a Visiting Fellow at the United Kingdom Manchester Business School. Professor Panikkos published over 30 papers at leading international academic journals, and more than 50 papers in international conferences. Won SBS AWARD 2002, RICHARDSON AWARD 2000, FPB AWARD 1998, FFI 2004 Barbara Hollander Award, and so on. Hosted and participated in nearly 20 national, local, university-funded research projects.
