BIT - Camphor Economics Symposium Held in Beijing

       On October 21, 2017, the 9th Camphor Economics Symposium was held in conjunction with Camphor Economics Forum organized by the Applied Economics of the School of Management Science and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology. Over 50 economists and graduate students from Peking University, Renmin University of China, Tsinghua University, Xiamen University, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Jinan University, University of International Business and Economics and Beijing Institute of Technology attended the seminar. The meeting was hosted by Associate Professor Zhang Lingxiang of the School of Management and Economics.

        

        Eight papers were exchanged during the symposium. Experts and scholars attending the meeting discussed the asymmetry of enterprise innovation, efficiency and return on assets, the contrast between China and the United States at the best time for research and development, employment and marriage choices, young boarding and primary school students human capital accumulation, political changes on the language and other topics.  They also conducted a wide range of discussions on related issues. The atmosphere of the site was warm and active.
