On the morning of August 8, 2017, at the invitation of the Institute of Science and Technology Evaluation and Innovation Management Center, Prof. Oliver Yu of San Jose State University in the United States made a presentation entitled "Total-System Innovation Management: A Value-Focused Systems Approach to Creative and Implement Ideas for Impact ", Professor Liu Yun, Director of the Center, hosted the report. Also attending this report are Professor Zhao Yanping, Dr. Wang Gangbo, Dr. Ye Jiuting, as well as some doctoral and graduate students.
Professor Yu, from the perspective of innovation and entrepreneurship, focused on the concept of Innovation implemented with impact, the role of innovation management, the concept of system-wide innovation management and application. He built a new human demand model showing three principles of innovation management (value-driven creativity, value-inspired leadership, value-centered system for people management), and combined with case study to explore the practicality of the concept and principles.
