On the afternoon of June 15, Academician Hu Haiyan was invited to the School of Management and Economics to make a special report on the “Construction of Liberal Arts in A University of Science and Technology”. Wei Yiming, Dean of the School of Management and Economics, Party Secretary Wang Zhaohua, members of the school leadership, members of the Party Committee, leaders of various departments, party branches, centers, and representatives of young teachers returning from overseas attended the report. He pointed out that the school should define the value orientation, consolidate the direction of the disciplines, consolidate the academic foundation, adhere to the integration and innovation, seek greater development, and build into a "world-class school of management and economics."
